Path through the Summer Scents

by Tien-Chien Chen

This was shot after a short hike, once I determined my 2WD won't make it all the way to the trail head. My tent is just a few feet from where I took this image. The wind blew constantly, hence it's rare for the few seconds of stillness that complete this shot.
Equipment: 4.0s at f/22, EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM at 28mm, ISO100 Tripod.

love the colours especially the sun rays on the mountains the longer exposure gives the stream a great effect.

Breath-taking. There is nothing like the play of sunlight on the mountains and the sound of a mountain stream. Very nice potd!

Nice shot enjoyed your website too, I see this shot was taken back in 2007.

Must have been quite a lull in the wind for a lond exposure like that. Looks as if the flowers were not blowing around at all. Superb composition.

Tranquil shot, very nice.

Very nice composition and use of a slow shutter speed. The red on the hills looks a little oversaturated, though.

Beautiful place. It invites you to walk all the way up to the source. But the water is too blue…
