    looks like a fun trip

  2. Katherine Lee Strassburg Says:

Amazing photo, but as I write this the temperature is zero………..and still dropping. I admire the adventurous climbers, but I prefer my spring wildflower walks on the mossy trails of home. Were you higher on the mountain or in a plane?

  3. Kirk Jordan Says:

Whoa Nellie. How did you get wherever you are. Stunning.

  4. Anurag Anurag Says:

Everything is stunning about this image, though for some including me, the blue color is really extraordinary.

  5. Su Says:

Great shot would have liked more info though in the UK so not familiar with these caves etc.

  6. Pauline Jones Pauline Jones Says:

And you do this for fun? Brilliant shot.

  7. Malta Photography Malta Photography Says:

its a nice shot but there is too much emptiness in it. i mean it does not communicate anything special. for me its just another shot, it does not vibrate. maybe a different angle or maybe a more focused image would have done the trick.

To me the sheer size of the glacier and the rocks compared with the tiny human figures tells a great story of adventure, daring and love of nature. Where were you, Dean? On a cliff? Flying?

  9. Kirk Jordan Says:

I think the extra space is essential to the power of the image. I see several internal and visually effectivee crops, but they all diminish the enormity of this vantage. In addition to the glacier cave-blue, I really like the contrast between the “violence” of rock and the cushion of the snow.

  10. Renee Renee Says:

Wow Dean very great capture! Its SNOW!! I never see snow only in pictures but its nice to see. :) I like it, Well Done!

  11. James and Kelly Stone Says:

I like this image. It is perfect the way you presented it in showing the vastness of this land in contrast to the size of the people tells a story in a way. Great shot and congratulations.

  12. Marie Dunphy Harding Says:

A marvelous shot! Good to see they are being cautious.

  13. Hanna Hanna Says:

Beautiful image. The white of the snow is in perfect vontrast with the blue of the ice an de greyish black of the rocks. Well done!

  14. varanasi Says:

I just love the color of blue that emanates from the ice caves.

  15. Lynn Jaye Says:

Extremely awesome shot, dude! I feel as if I’m one of the people coming out of the cave!

  16. Mandy Kilpatrick Mandy Kilpatrick Says:

I agree with the vibrant color of blue presented here being lovely against the white snow of the composition. It does show the teeny tiny humans on the huge mountain – what an adventure! Fun for some – but I would be terrified!! Congratulations!

  17. Sue Gagnon Says:

Excellent composition and color capture in this photograph! You should be proud of this one, to be sure.

  18. su su Says:

  20. Renee Renee Says:
