It looked at first like a Christmas tree made of ice. Fun.

This is lovely. One can see a sparkling world in a small pane of glass. It makes me suddenly hate my thermo-pane double windows! Very nice potd to ring in the new year!

When I saw this I knew only God could have created with ice, something of such perfection onto a glass window. He is everywhere!

very good shot. I also thought it was a Christmas tree but looking further it brings out how wonderful the simplicity of nature is.

Isn’t it delightful that we can find such beauty on the window pane, rather than dwell on the freezing cold inside! been there.

Thanks for all the comments folks. An interesting side note to this shot, the tree had melted away by that evening and has never returned again. Happy New Year!!
