I am Mart Smit, 17 years old. Living in the northern parts of Holland. I am very interested in Nature and because of my father I started photographing nature at a young age. With some succeses in photo competition like BBC wildlife photographer of the year and Argus I could by my own equipment.

A fine piece of photography. It shows that much care has been taken in setting up this shot. Your control of depth of field and lighting surpasses good.

Super shot! I love the see development of insects through the larvae stage through metamorphosis, such as this shot demonstrates for us. Quite impressive, especially for a 17 year old.
