Yeah! Takes me back too. I love the phantom-like effect of the red car.. . vanishing, like these ‘60ish street scenes.

  5. Anurag Anurag Says:

The classic feel is definately there. Wish you could shed some more light on the technicals.
That car must have given you quite a close shave :-)

  6. Anurag Anurag Says:

PS : I really like the color scheme which you have superimposed over the sepia. (red sign boards/car, and cyan in the opposite side)

  7. Chamika Says:

Love the colors! Great post processing work.

I love this shot. I love it all out i mean the shades used the motion effect the angle which you have chosen not very easy in NYC. everything is giving a sense of energy. Great job.

  9. Su Says:

awesome shot could be a poster or a jigsaw, wonderful.

  10. KeithT Says:

A very different earth shot to that which we have become accustomed to of late. That’s a refreshing change I might add. I like composition and the post processing.

  11. planet lover Says:

Very interesting. For a split second, the light on the store windows on the left seemed like a clothesline…

  12. Stee Stee Says:

    Very nice urban photo

  13. Mandy Kilpatrick Mandy Kilpatrick Says:

You can sense the grittiness of the street here while highlighting the asphalt in the foreground instead of the highrise buildings as usually seen. Also there is a feeling of suspense & uncertainty with the street in front of us ending with a bright haze where details end, making the “unknown” the destination. No glitz and glam here. A very creative and realistic composition emotionally and visually. Congratulations!!

  14. Marie Dunphy Harding Says:

Looks like a shot from an old gangster movie.
Nice change from glitzy photos of NY.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, good ole’ New York City! There is nothing like it in the world. It’s craziness and constant action captured quite well here. Congratulations on a fine photograph!
