Living on my boat somewhere on the river avon near bath England. I have enjoyed photos for many years, I have bought myself a d80 and now I find it dosen't leave my side. I travel around the South West of England in my work and love to find new places and subjects to shoot.

What a fiery sky. But pray, enlighten us as well, to your moment of truth when you were revealed as to why the stones were erected!! :-) If for any purpose other other than to study the heavens.

One of the most magical photos ever of the subject. I was there years ago on a sunny day and what a difference the skies make!! The colors and cloud formations are heavenly.

I went to Stonehenge years ago on a rainy, gray
day. Just an impressive place. This photo with
the wild sky is amazing. Can’t imagine those
sky colors in England.

By a long shot the mst artistic and best image of this place I’ve seen. This image simply add’s more mystery to this place; the colors and the silhouette make it even more intriging!

The stone hedge certainly brings your eyes to that incredible sky.

The stones were put there so you would look up to the sky and remember to take the picture. Great Shot

This is beautiful. Lovely shot caught in a severely beautiful color storm. Evokes a dark aspect of this most magical area.

This is quite a magical shot. The blazing sky seems to be reflecting the power of the stones. The contrast sets a mood. Great potd!
