I live on the front range of the rockies where the mountains and plains meet. In the summer, afternoon storms brew over the mountains and move out over the plains where they sometimes grow to unbelievable heights. I was on a hilltop looking southeast over the plains and the setting sun was behind me. I didn&#039;t have any great foreground elements to use so I just concentrated on the sky. I had been shooting the sky for a while and it just kept getting better and better as the sun set behind me and started to light up the bottom of the clouds with orange light. I caught a few shots before it covered up the moon.</description>
