In the Forest
by Robert Pietraga
One day I was looking for a mist in the forest. And I found it and toadstools. I thought that one of toadstools could be main point of my landscape picture, and that is result of my trip.

Great shot and very sharp. I like the way the tree introduces me to the image but I would have liked something closer maybe closer to the fallen log to get some more detail. Obviously that is a question of likes though.

Great point of view and composition and a great capture of the mushrooms (most likely the poisonous Amanita on the ground and the Red Belted bracket polypore on the tree)in their natural environment. The light also matches the underworld feeling the picture conveys.

  14. Bob Says:

Amanita Muscaria is the type of mushrooms if you’re interested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanita_muscaria

It is lovely. Although at first I thought it was a pork chop that was about to be cooked in the wild.
