Ceresio Lake
by Stefano Sala
I was on Monte Bar (Switzerland) for a bike-downhill in a half-cloudy day. I stopped my bike and quickly took some shots of lake with reflections and lights from cloud's holes.
Equipment: Canon EOS 300D

I am an amateur photographer living in south Switzerland. My photography passion is a gift from my father and, in the digital era, has become true love.
Now I am constantly in search of the unattainable image, and this encourages me to take more and more shots.

WOW!!!! Amazing scene. The hues and silhouette give this a somber feel. The sky is awesome. Great photo. Congrats on your POTD!

The ‘moody blues’ have finally been visually captured. Someone should sing what you photographed!

I love Switzerland: I love the mountains. This is a good shot but maybe a little too blue.

One can sure use your imagination with those clouds; looks like a lake behind the cloud. Lovely shot!

I like this shot mainly for its color and mood however I am doubting the lower left hand side of the capture where it is too dark, I mean there is not information or very little of it.

I really find this picture very common… everybody with a camera has many of these in their files.

I love it. The shot certainly causes all, either way, to pause and consider the image. The ‘Moody Blues’ is exactly what I thought of, as well. If one could capture the statement, here it is in all its ‘glory’. Good work.
