Whisper Of The Sea

Mother nature was extremely gentle this morning. With calming effect, the soft lapping motion of the waves whispered secrets of the sea.

Equipment: Arca Swiss 4×5 view camera with 90mm Schneider f5.6 XL, 0.9 Neutral density hard grad filter and Provia 100F.

What a beautiful shot! The colors of sea and sky are calming, yet you can sense the hidden power of the water by the boulders and driftwood cast upon the shore. Thank you for sharing this one.

Conratulations on being the POTD.
The shot is good but for me the foreground is too cluttered. My eye seems to be trapped in the lower part of the image. That said it is neverthless a beautiful image, with the exposure managed to perfection.

very good shot indeed. The lighting maneuvering is very professional and the color balancing in every place is just great. Very calm sensation.

Thanks for the comments.

Planet lover, I wish I could say it had been taken in some remote wilderness. But no, this shot was just taken not to far from Gibraltar, where I live. It is about 15 minute drive across the frontier into southern Spain on the Mediterranean coast side.
