This is something that the Navajo guides have been doing for their photographer customers for some time. It is very dark in the slots so the use of a tripod is almost mandatory for decent non-flash shots. Typically the guide sets you up in the right location and then grabs a big scoop of sand, throws it up on the rock shelf, and then runs out of the way so you can trip your shutter for a nice time exposure. It's still a great shot but not a natural wonder. The slots though are a wonder unto themselves. Kirk,
