Magic Hour at Riffelsee (Matterhorn)

You won’t believe it but this was today’s magic hour at Riffelsee. A cold but clear night was the foundation for the purple atmosphere and the thin “cat ice” was the basic for the reflection of the Matterhorn. What a breathtaking moment. It was really hard to release the shutter… because I was caught by the beauty of this surreal spectacle.
Enjoy the purple Matterhorn view.

Good cut. Of the millions pictures of the Cervino (so it is called in Italy where it is mostly located, including the top) this one definitely deserves to be among the best ones. It has rhythm and artistic structure.
