When ever I see a lady bug I always move it out of harm’s way. If one lands on me I move it to a safe place. The photo is a great shot of the pair..

Thanks everyone for your comments…Anurag, i used a 60mm 2.8 macro for this shot. It was in a relatively dark area and I wasn’t using a tripod, so my DOF couldn’t be too high. Plus the ladybugs were moving fast!

This time of year the ladybugs will be trying to find somewhere to overwinter; they tend to come together in big groups.

Apart from all that has been already said I Really like how the leaf is jutting into the frame like an arrow. Of course great colors.
Slightly higher DOF to keep the ladybird on the right also in focus is desirable.
What lens are you using Jacob?
