Folk Musician

While shooting at sunset point of Pushkar, Rajasthan, I saw this folk musician playing the song “Padharo Mharo Desh” (visit my land of Rajasthan). I composed this silhouette and captured the mood of folk musician.

I use Nikkon D70S to shoot around.

Very nice shot. The silhouette is great and the warmth of the sun is very welcoming. I like all the details in the composition. Great job. I would have tried to straighten the piece of land in the background.

Great silhouette. The exposure is remarkable in the sense that there is no burning out of details except in the disk of the sun yet preserving the details in the reflection on the water and the buildings. Amazing that the D70 (and of course the photographer) managed such dynamic range.

Dont like it, Must be told that this is a musician. To me, before reading the text,it was a standing military person on the “qui vive?” position. Technic might be rigth but the message is negative if seen on a “flight by” sight.
