Pretty nice shot from a nice angle. I like the contrasting colors of the sea the sand and the umbrellas.

Great picture Hugh! Am are longing for warm weather, am bracing myself through a very cold spring here in Cape Town [South Africa]. Your great picture brings some sunshine and warmth into my day! thanks!

Interesting photo. I’ve never seen the ocean this green, like a sea if emeralds. Where is Nazar?

Going great guns.
Just one opinion – If you you are open to Post processing you can Increase the color saturation of the ?benches/?tents to match the rest of the scene

Sorry It just doen’t do a thing for me; except thinking of humans as an ant hill that could be squashed in seconds by “Big Foot”. Could be perfect technically, but the subject matter…
I dont think so… Just an opinion Hugo, please
dont think of it as mean spirited.

I like the picture as it is. Increasing the color saturation of the benches may (in my opinion) over-power the picture and take away from the colorful umbrellas and towels.

Thanks for all the comments. It’s nice to see my photo chosen as pic of the day :)

This is actually Nazare, not Nazar. Guess the system ate the accentuation. Nazare is in Portugal, Europe.

Re: Jacques: above all, I like the pattern and the colors. I think that’s what works so well in the pic. And, of course, the fact they it’s people.

Nice color. Where’s Nazar and how did you get so high off the ground?

I love the title; Waldo is American, Wally is the English version.

Re: Tom Brooklyn: the shot was taken from the cliff/mountain above the beach.
