Grand Tetons National Park

by Richard Crowle

Early morning still waters at Oxbow Lake at Grand Tetons National Park.
Equipment: Nikon 5700
Richard Crowle
Hi there I'm Rick I have been taking closeups for over 40 years but just for fun and would love to share. My first good camera was a Pentax S L R and I used a reversing ring with a 35 mm lens. I just got a nikon 8800 and will get some close up lenses. Most photographs I have on flickr were taken with the 5700.My brother convinced me to join flickr six months ago, and it is great fun. I am full timing in my motorhome, am presently in Montana for this summer. Last winter I was in southern Utah and took lots of photographs. If you are traveling my way I have two beds in the MH

Very nice, Rick! Colors are wonderful, still water and the reflection of the aspens are perfect–real soul food! You should head to Michigan some spring or fall–great wildflowers for close-ups and wonderful expanses of fall foliage………….

Nice colors, good idea to have foliage all around the shot in a kind of vignetting mask, horizon should have been made level.

Great lifestyle, I do envy you I’m stuck with my 9 to 9 schedule as a surgeon.

One of the best shots in weeks on the site.
One more reason for me to want to see Montana-
I live near the Adirondacks and our leaves have
not changed color much yet. Pretty!

If a leaf falls in the woods, does anybody hear it?
Serenity at it’s best!

As for your MH, be careful what you wish for …
