Flying Giants
by Nicolas Rakotopare
my last day on the island, i saw those giants everyday vacation days, i really wanted to get a new point of view. So i flew, and we saw them. It is totaly incredible the sensation you can get sitting in a little plane without doors taking pics of those beautilful whales ...

What a marvelous new viewpoint. The sea becomes the sky…..the ‘footprints’ and the bubbles become cirrus clouds…and the singing giants become a pair of prehistoric birds. WOW! You have a great imagination and a wonderful eye. Tres bien!

Absolutely beautiful. The viewpoint makes it very special I think.

So much better to enjoy the whales this way
rather than barfing my guts out on whale
watching boat off the Maine coast. Hardly
any of the 100 passengers kept their
lunch down. Great photo shot by the way.

o doubts a great shot, but my early thought was of the two airplanes on their way to Japan in 1945 to drop their lethal cargo on populations. In order not to be a party poo per, I want to emphasize the peaceful nature of these wonderful mammals and hope pictures like theses help to curb their extinction by hunting and all the
poison we drop in the oceans like cargo’s refuse and used up engine oil and nasty excrement pipes in the ocean (Victoria BC Canada)to get rid of dirty water instead of treating it to be reused again.

Really like the spray of the spout.
Just as a curiosity I took your image and rotated it by 180 degrees in PS. It did present an interesting look.
