Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre

by Nori Jemil

Flying in Chilean airspace, Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy appear out of the clouds and snow over the border in Argentine Patagonia. The rich blue is down to the polarizing filter, and some editing of contrast and levels.

Brrr. You captured the cold, clear air perfectly. The colors are wonderful and the peaks so sharp they cut a hole in the sky. Wow!

Absolutely amazing aerial shot. really like the inky blue sky, whether due to polarising filter or photoshop. I am impressed by the clarity ( you were shooting through plexiglass I presume. A trophy for a life time!

fabulous simple yet energizing. Just perfectly placed in the view and the clouds being cut through the mountains. Nice colors too.

The mountains look as though they are piercing the clouds. Beautiful picture.

Looks so uninhabitable and untouched and hostile, yet such a pristine scene. Good catch and post processing work!

Awesome picture, the air in the picture even looks cold, and the mountains are so jagged yet so gorgeous.
