Colin what a lovely shot. The perspective is superb. Thanks or sharing.
WOW! What a wonderful place. You picked the perfect framing to make the viewer feel as if they are there in person. Thanks for taking me there.
very nice
Great Shot.
Good shot, just a few nits
-the stone in the background on the right should not have been cut, some amount of margin could have helped.
– the sky is too much darkened in the upper part for my liking, even the upper portion of the stone seems to have been darkened.
Of course these are my views and small nits
Very nice shot and perspective, was this taken with bracketing or HDR ?
Great shot. I’ve put the Isle of Lewis on my list of places to visit. Thanks for sharing!
Never heard of this place, wow, how intriging!
Great shot, gives me a good minds eye view.
I like everything about it. The way you darkened the top of the sky brings my eye nicely down to the center rock.
Wonderful! Were the stones erected for any particular purpose with that specific spacing; memoriam, perhaps?
The sky color of the sky is great, and the green green grass is also nice, wonderful photo. Congrats
Interesting memorial from our ancestors, I bet ladies didn’t have much to say on the design.
What great perspective! I love that rock formation. Great work!
totally awesome shot
I have just come back from Carnac in France where there are a lot of standing stones; the island of Gavrinis is well worth a visit. It seems that a pre-Celtic culture spread from Northern France to Britain and Ireland well before Christ.
The Standing Stones-MAGNIFICENT!
Nice shot, thank goodness these have been preserved.
Good shot Colin. Keep it up.
They look pretty tall.
