I love the look on the fisherman’s face, the way the cormorant is spreading its wings as if just waking up, and the clearly-defined red line across its back as it does so. All making a great overall composition with the red light - is that natural? I’m not a photographer but photos like this make me want to be.

August 3rd, 2008 at 6:54 pmWhat a wonderful image to capture. The tones and composition are lovely. I would love it if this was actually a scene you saw and captured. It just doesn’t quite look that way, and so if it’s real, maybe you could have left some imperfection. There’s such a thing as too much of a good thing with Photoshop.
