Rondane Mountain Range
by Lee Seung Kye
Rondane National Park, the oldest national park in Norway, establ. 1962, with ten peaks above 2,000 metres (6,560 ft), with the highest being Rondeslottet at an altitude of 2,178 m (7,146 ft).
The 5 mountains in the background with it`s highest peak of 2018 m (6,620 ft.) is located west of Store Ula river (Big Ula) that runs in the valley between the largest mountain ranges of Rondane NP. As I passed this bend in the river in the sunset afterglow, I knew the various elements could make a good photo, before I by midnight continued my hike into Central Rondane NP.

great capture! the Norwegian landscape here is rather similar to the Yukon in Canada, both being in the north.

Lee, though you picked up a very mature and cliched subject, this is a really nice shot, particularly because of the great colors, specially the cyan tint in the water, and the good cloud formation, I am however somewhat bothered by what seems like significant barrel distortion.

This is a truly impressive shot; great depth of field, every part of the picture is in focus.

Beautiful. Just beautiful!

Thanks for all comments!
I really appreciate it.
@Anurag: this is not barrel distortion.
Foreground is dominated by the river, running down to the left and the middle ground is also going down, left because of the angle of the landscape. Using a water level on scene, and correcting any distortion in RAW converter…but, I agree: it still can give the illusion of barrel distrt.
@Marie: by accident, I noticed all the details as I was on my way to another location.
Seeing all the beautiful details I went for a different approach; to get as much as possible in a still acceptable landscape photo.
It IS busy, but I really like it very much.
Thank you all!
Sincerely
Lee, Seung Kye
