Passing The Field
by Danu Primanto
A farmer passes through the middle of onion fields in Karanganyar district, Central Java, Indonesia. The onion is usually used in cooking where it makes the taste more spicy. The high rise of oil price hit onion price slowly. Now, the farmers can only sell it at 1,500 rupiahs/kilograms ($ 0,15).

Great study in patterns!! Red cap and green grass – serendipity.
One could have placed the farmer at the thirds.
    Great shot anyway.
BTW – Where are you standing, is it on a small plane or some huge harvester / cultivating machine?

This looks like a patchwork quilt; I like the geometry. I grow onions myself but they don’t look like that.
