Newton is an Artist

by Thomas Vignaud

Underwater long exposure of a little spring : ) The exposure was 1 second. The housing was reaallyy hard to keep because of the current, but I found a place with a piece of wood and pushing hard on it.

Hi Thomas

You captured this little spring from a very unusual perspective and I like the result very much. Great work!

A truly unique image of a very interesting force of nature! It’s amazing that you were able to pin the housing securely enough for the one second exposure to work this well. Hat’s off!

Fantastic!

INGENIUOUS image!!!!!
Newton discovered the laws of gravity…water flowing is governed by gravity….and in this case it has been so wonderfully, creatively and artfully captured in it’s movement, created thru gravity. That’s my offering as a student answer to a. two comments prior. IS it close Thomas?

Is it the calm centre of a cyclone? Is it the centre of a wave crashing around a log? Is t the edge of a waterfall as the water flows over it? No, it’s a little spring! What an awesome image to wake up to. It certainly put my brain into gear. Thank you.

Fantastic shot. You really captured the moment. It is hard to believe it is just a spring. Thanks for sharing
