I win!
Nice picture, with that slanting light and those soft shades of green. I’d like to have seen more of the mountaintops, “the sky” you mention in the description.. What focal length did you have on the Tamron? -This pic reminds me so much of the typical stepped terraces of the Himalaya in Nepal and India.
They are like giant stairs - beautifully captured and composed!
Great light and very nicely composed too.
Sunlight filtering through the clouds looks great. The red building with the smoke rising from the nearby fire is also a great point of interest. An unusual focal length for landscapes but which is giving a nice feel to the shot, kind of a “Peeping into” type of feel.
lovely landscape!!…… love the framing of it……. a lot of the interest is created by this composition……. really well done!!
What a magical looking place … makes some of the rice terraces of Bali and other spots in Asia pale in comparison..
wonderfull lighting and crisp quality. I like the DOF here very much
This is what photography is all about in my book. Bringing stunning photos like this to people like me who will never be able to go there myself.
Thank You! And many thanks for the description. This is what I thought “Earth Shots” was all about.
This is heartfelt and beautiful! Great work, David!
Well done…it makes me feel like I am there. The mountains of Luzon are a beautiful place to visit.
Wow very incredible shot! well done! thanks for sharing
Never seen such a thing having never traveled
in Asia. Wonderful thing when a photo broadens
our horizons.
Beautiful photo…
I’m always amazed at how many different shades of green there are. Your photo captures them perfectly, and the light and shadow playing across the scene really intensifies the depth. Fantastic.
Compelling Photography!
It’s photographers like you who give us incite into other worlds. Thank you David.
I love pictures that show me places I am never likely to see in person; they show how diverse our world really is.
David,
Thank you. You surley caught this in wonderful perspective.
Very pretty. Order and randomness.
Rice fields need to be flooded right? How do they flood those?
