This evokes great memories of Morro Bay and Moonstone Beach. The colors are muted in comparison to the violence of the waves…part of the mysterious personality of the sea. You captured my favorite time of day!

The strength, power and massive weight of the waves combines nicely with the light, delicate, soaring birds.

so much movement – a beautifully captured moment in time

Good movement but not much color.

jeez what rush. I hope you were quite far from the waves. I like the sea gulls how they appear to be hovering through the winds

I really like the shape of the breaking wave. The birds are in a perfect place and pose, … and number!. – big bird for the big wave and small one for the small wave (what a rhythm)
The shot has that timeless look.
Great Work.
Chris
a nice pic and a nice wave

Roaring waves & gentle sky; always a great combination.

This photo was taken on my home ground. I live so far away. It’s always good to see the sea. Thanks! Good shot. EZ

I took one look at this photo and just knew it was shot with film. There is just something that digital capture can not replicate about film. Stunning photo very well composed and very well captured.

After seeing a number of posts with soft pouring water, or silky water on the beach, its nice to see manly-man waves of the type that could crush you. I think the under stated color compliments the power of the water.
