Nature’s Color Palette

This photograph was taken in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. This strand of aspen is an amazing site to witness in the fall season. I was able to catch this grove with side lighting in the mid morning with filtered light through the clouds. The colors were fantastic this day.

Equipment: Canon EOS 1dsMII, 70-200mm lens, tripod

I KNEW it was Colorado before looking at the ‘details’! The colors and layers give the photo motion–like ocean waves. I love it.

Sorry but this photo looks far to artifical for my liking. The colours (australian spelling)are far stronger than I would like to see in a natural scene.

Nice colors and composition. It is a nice shot over all and nicely composed but I would have liked some adventure in it.
