Face of the Sand
by Thomas Vignaud
This venimous fish, Trachinus draco, is usually hiding in the sand, waiting for little fish to eat. It is a very dangerous fish for humans too, because if you put your foot on it, you'll feel a horrible pain!

Hi, I'm a marine biology student in France, and I'm actually working on sharks. I'm professional diver, and I really love underwater photography, in scuba diving and in freediving.

Interesting fish. At what depth of water does it usualy reside? i.e. how likely is it for a human to step on it?

He looks evil, which is warning enough to stay away. Gives me the shudders.
