Attack Formation

by Karl Marchant

The Barracuda is a lightening master of attack, slowly cruising then with a massive burst of speed and a blink of an eye, they pounce! This trio was part of a larger group on the Wreck of 'El Malakoff' Lying at 40 metres depth. Location: Menorca, Spain
Equipment: Nikon D40x 105mm macro

Nice shot and very impressively clear. The lack of color makes a really sense of expectation and the blank backdrop is great.

I am usually not a fan of the black, white, grey range but you have captivated me here…

I LOVE the opposition of backdrop of the light above and going darker to the depths ….

contrasting with

the fish themselves: the light underbellies rising up to the dark tones on the backs and spines! JUST BRILLIANT… Great shot … Thank you for inspiring.

Nice shot. They certainly don’t look like any Masters of Attack here!

Simpl minimalist shot. Reminds me of karl and his sisters when younger.

Great photo! Simple and strikingly beautiful. The fish don’t seem as aggressive as their reputation suggests they are.
