There is an odd poetic correlation between this image of swirling fish, and the former image of whirling stars.

Underwater photography is great: I just started using an underwater housing for my camera and already I have some interesting pictures. This world is so near but we hardly ever see it; thanks for sharing.

Beautiful, I love the way the little fish are eating off the bright coral. Was this a entrance to a cave?

what a nice shot and how clear the fish and the diver are. it has a nice sensation of summer.

Very neat. How deep is this?

Great shot! The fishes look like spermatozoa.

Very nicely composed and taken. Underwater photography must be another ball game entirely! I dive but have never gotten into underwater photography.

Beautiful! And now I’m trying to figure out where the light behind the diver is coming from…is it the sun and we’re looking up? Or is there some source of light down below?

Now this is truly my cup of tea…..I love it….all has been said above, so, let’s just close with the hope that I, too, get to see that someday, as well. :)

Beautiful image. How wide of a lens are you using?

18th June 2008 at 6:23 am

Greetings All

Thanks for the comments. This image was taken around 20 meters using a 10.5 fisheye lens. It is not a cave but just a hole in the coral. The light source behind the model is the sun. I really enjoyed taking this image.
