I thought this was so lovely - I love the kaleidoscopic effect superimposed on a human. And of course, the subject matter was captivating - a girl looking in to the temple and the viewer wonders how does she get in. Well done! C.
beautiful. if you look at it from other perspective, it looks as if there was a conflict on who’s looking at who.
Lovely! Can’t we all just picture oneself in that same inquisitive frame at some point in our inquisitive young (& even older) lives!
Picture of great impact! Very, very attractive.
I like it. It’s something different with a great perspective. Well spotted and taken.
Would the girl be allowed into the temple or is it one of those, ‘No women allowed,’ things?
Marble stonework? Amazingly beautiful. Hand-crafted or machine-made?
funny when i first looked at the image I thought it was a boy. A moment in time. To be so fortunate to be on the other side of the window when the curiosity of the young was there for a moment. Is it luck?? Sure is and don’t you just love it. Absolutely amazing photograph!! Thomas I bet you smile at this image every time you look at it.
very unique!
Beautiful shot.
Great photographic presence of mind.
Thanks for all the positive comments. I’m glad so many of you like the photo. In answer to Pauline’s question, this building was actually the tomb of Salim Chisti within the Jama Masjid temple at Fatehpur Sikri. The girl was inside the temple already, but I don’t think they allowed children into this building surrounding the tomb.
WOW! What a excellent photo! Congrats!!!
Great shot. Well composed, nice idea.
Great job!
what’s she looking at?
