Nature photography is my passion. Exploring the beauty of God's creation and capturing it is challenging and enjoyable. I have been photographing nature since I was twelve and since going digital it has brought a new fire for capturing natures beauty. I am a happily married father with two beautiful girls and live in Fort Smith, AR. I have help run my families clothing store "Rainwater's Clothing" for many years. I also own and manage rental property in Fort Smith.

Beautiful!!! Love the depth!! The fall colors are spectacular. And, yes, the hiker really gives it scale. Bravo!!!

Nice to see someone highlighting the beauty of the Natural State. Most of us know of the glories of the American West, but fewer know of Arkansas’s quiet wonders. Is this off of White Mountain?

Great shot! I’d clone the lower right hand corner, and darken.

Excellent composition and great colors – blue green and yellow orange, prefect compliments on the painter’s color wheel.
Just wondering about the squarish crop and the the camera (which one?!)
The skim light on the person’s head is also giving a wonderful effect.

Very nice shot. It gives a sensation of plain silence and harmony with nature.

Hawksbill Craig is one of the most photographed places in Arkansas in the Buffalo River National Park. It can be found along the trail that starts close to the Ponca/Boxley area in Newton County Arkansas.
Your photograph is one of the better ones I’ve seen that shows the true colors of the Boston Mountains in NW Arkansas.
