Mountain Stream
by Mick Walters
Taken on the second say of my trip just after a little lunch to the left of shot. Tasmania has ranked as having the cleanest air on earth and you can tell when being in a place like this.

A very nice image and thoughtfully taken. My only issue is that we are seeing an awful lot of images like this one on this site of late and it’s starting to bore me a little.

I agree with Keith; this is a nice image and I’ve never visited Tasmania but a little variety would be good.

I like this image! Like the composition, colours and the mist on the top of the mountain!

When I read the title, before I opened the picture, I thought Not another majestic mountain, not another stream! But I was pleasantly surprised: this is one of the prettiest photos I’ve seen here: the beautiful vegetation, the fog in the background, the richness of colors, the clean stream water; it looks very peaceful. Thanks for sharing!

ah, the duck boards to the right, the low lying scrub that cuts your hands if you fall into it… can you tell I’m a nostalgic Tasmanian bushwalker?
Kate
where was it by the way? I have to say I like variety too, but it’s nice for a city dweller to see the wilderness at least from the computer screen often enough

It is a nice shot over all the colors fit and blend very well. The lower rocks introduce you to the whole picture.

Gorgeous! It looks like sunrise! That must have been amazing to be there!

Nice shot! It would have been a little nicer without those low clouds I guess.

Thanks to the people that like this shit and to those who have seen it before thats hardly my fault so don’t look at it and feel the need to comment.
pieter, i think the clouds help make the shot by giving it atmosphere but each to their own.
