Lupine Barn
by Richard Duerksen
I have photographed here several times in the past week, but on this evening the light was perfect and the wind calm. Nature at its best, enhancing the work of an old barn-builder.

Nice and clean shot and realy showing the nature in its best,if the photo contain a smell I’m sure it will be O2, but I have one comment on the shot angle I feel that if you raise the angle little to show the mountains and sky it will be more deep and effective, but it is very good photo, and realy I like the green colors of background trees

Ahmed, I agree about the angle, however the white sky was most distracting that evening making this the best option. I am still overwhelmed by the rainbow of colors in the lupines and the trees! Dick

This is a fantastic shot I must say. The flowers gives a very smooth intro to the barn, then stopped by the trees. just wonderful.

Where is this place? Are these lupins wild?

Very nice scene. Good colors and nice compo with the barn in the righthandside. Your horizon is slightly tilted though.

The lupines are great. I rarely criticize, but
I would have cropped the shot differently. More
sky up top and fewer lupines for better composition overall. The flowers are impressive
and thanks for sharing.

Ah, the beauty of “lupines.” The colours are simply magnificant. A lovely combination – encompassing the barn as well. Thank you for sharing.
Happy smiles.

I think you mean lupin. Never heard of them before. Nice field. Would have liked to see mountain background included in frame.

Great shot, the little bit of sky that is visible in the upper left is quite a distraction though. It can do with some toning down or cropping.
Andrew
what a pretty view…

FYI: According to dictionary.com, the name of this plant can be spelled either “lupine” or “lupin.”
I was not familiar with them, but these flowers are very beautiful. At first glance, I thought they were Texas Bluebonnets.
I also like photos of old barns and old churches.
