Insignificance

by Mark Morrison

This photo was taken on a recent backcountry ski trip in the Canadian Rockies in February. It had snowed a couple of feet of fresh snow the day before and the vistas were spectacular on this day. Location: Jasper, Alberta, Canada

great shot of your ski adventures, it definitely looks like the Rockies, typical of Jasper Park scenery. Nice!

The weather as it looks in the distance is quiet threatening.I would not stay there much longer.

You have Nailed the exposure.

Fantastic picture. I love the foreboding atmosphere caused by the clouds behind. This picture has made me really want to visit the Canadian Rockies!

Frightfully Beautiful!

The composition is good and the angle at which the photo has been taken was a good choice. I can almost see a ray of light in the distance even though the weather seems very threatening. I like mostly the moment of hesitation of the subject almost like saying ” to jump or not to jump”.

I like the lonely figure standing at the edge. Too bad the weather was this dull as it doesn’t do the picture a lot of good. Anyway, great scene!
