spot on!
I thought it was a monkey! good timing!
Beautiful…!
I will believe you if you tell us this is “real” — but all the elements together, from ducks to bulls-eye placement of the jumping lad render this surreal. At first I thought you had captured a statue in silhouette. Then I looked again. Did you see this shot in advance and work to make it happen, or did you see it unfold before your long telephoto? Fantastic!
Every thing is so perfect. The timing and the coincidence of the perfectly aligned birds. The exposure. Very Very uncanny!! The Entire setting looks like fairy tale stuff.
Are you sure no compositing is involved
?
Oh! I forgot to mention - This is by far one of the best Earth Shots.
Great shot a color. I love the way the birds in the background have been stamped in their movement. but most of all the subject has been framed very well.
Hey! You’ve captured “The Boy in the Moon”
It looks like a Peter Pan cut out. Fantabulous!
I Love it!
Hi Grish,
This is a fabulous shot! Congratulations.
Regards, Gerry
Spectacular !
what an amazing capture of the moment!!…… and that too, against the disk of the sun!!…….. brilliant!!
Stunning image - technically perfect! Lovely details and colours.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful shot! the colours - all in these reddish mauve and sweet magenta tones are so warm and deep. This photo is very inspiring, warming, heartening. I love the boy sillouetted over the sun and also the birds each in a different stage of flight… as if we see them all flapping their wings - the motion is added! ….My thanks again…
One must dare ask the question: is this a photoshop composite or a straight image? Either way it has been expertly composed But if a straight image - absolutely superb.
This is what I love about photography .. a perfect moment in time preserved forever.
Very well composed; good shot using only two or three colors.
AMAZING.
nice shot but risky jump . is he still alive ?
great shot. excelent work…
what an interesting photo!! At first I thought it was a branch. I really like everything about the photo!!
excellent work!!
AMAZING!!! this is incredible how the child is in the center and the pic is centered like that…..very very very well done….
Very nice shot. I like how the “jumper” associates with the birds in the background.
This is a very nice composition. The colors and simplicity are stunning. It is a composite, right?.
maybe it would be a good idea to say what river it is
Lovely shot ! Congratulations Girish.
Hello Girish,
This photo is so incredible, that I can barely imagine thet it wasnt post-processed.
For me birds, as well as tree and the boy are cloned from another picture. Since it was Digital SLR, fringe on contrast phases are visible but not on a boy. Birds are so similiar to each other. and the third from left is just smaller.
Noise on picture doesnt compare to boy space of a picture.
Is it possible for me to have original picture on my mail? naspamy@op.pl
DrumSand.
GOOD GRACIOUS!WHAT A SHOT!how long did u take to get that perfect shot?
keep on capturing the moment.Beautiful
Nice shot well thought out.
Stunning profile!
Good shot, wonderful colors, I think it will be more better if the sun be in center of the photo
picture is a composition of few photos. birds are cloned in digital post-processing program.
boy is being paste from another picture.
posts which doubt 75 awards are being deleted.
shame!
It just looks like a photoshop creation to me. Nothing about it looks real. Sorry!
There is just somthing about this shot but i just can’t put my finger on it?
Great photo. For a moment I thought you had a spider monkey jumping into the river. I had to look again to realize it was a boy.
Wow congrats on a amazing photo!
Nice composite. Photoshop is a fantastic app.
A very nice scene, good colors and well composed. The picture seems too be a bit noise and oof though.
Nice comp and good timing.
oh, where on Earth is this?
Well, do we know if its real or not?
Apparently we do not know if this is real, but it is sure real nice! Good shot!!
