It was incredibly white winter this year with its heavy snow-falls and low temperatures. I just had to put my skiing pants on and walk half a mile in a knee-deep snow to find this tree with the geese resting under it. Location: Reno, NV

If you are an amateur then the professional photographers should take note. This is a superbly presented image, composition,tones and textures are excellent. Like this shot very much. Congrats.

This is not my cup of tea. The snow looks like noise to me. The picture does tell a story though.
