Comin At Ya

by Kevin McNeal

This was taken along the Oregon Coast during a storm that changed everything including the force of the waves. I noticed the interesting patterns in the waves and I kept shooting during the storm at 0.5 to get the wave action included as I set up around the comp of the haystacks
Equipment: Canon 5D

Beautiful long exposure! How you managed to capture the unusual curve of the tide/waves is really one of the best I’ve seen.

Awesome energy and composition! Another great one, Kevin! Nice S-curve, tones in the rock/sand and textures. Keep shooting and don’t get wet.

Great DOF and capture of the moving water.I hope your 5D survived the salty air.

Everything is clear the reflection of the rock and all the rock formations are so crisp. The movement ads a sense of direction. Great shot Kevin.

Brilliant! I love the contrast of the still water and the moving waves. The rocks are beautiful in an austere way and very interesting.
