Though I know how difficult it is to get the perfect camera setting insuch split second moments, I guess you needed a higher ISO to achieve a faster shutter and slightly more DOF. Just a thought.
Neverthless you have managed excellently well to capture this moment. -

And what a powerful suggestion of our shared creature-hood.

April 23rd, 2008 at 7:09 amPrecisely Kirk. But if you see carefully there is a hint of motion blur in the eyes/nose and the actual point of focus is in front of the face, i.e. on the water droplets. That is why I would have gone for maybe 2/3 stop narrower aperture and 1/3 faster shutter. Neverthless all this is just like splitting hair. In the end its a great image.
