La Sal Sunset

This photograph was taken around Moab Utah of the La Sal Mountains at sunset. I was drawn to the rock fins that were scattered about and was also lucky enough to get a nice pink afterglow after sunset.

Very deep colors, I also like the overlooking the distant mountains and the peaks touched with some icings.

Yes, a lot of mountain images…must be this thing we call spring fever!
Real nice tonality on this image along with crisp detail between the rock and snow. Lovely.

The snow adds the depth to the foreground and the magenta sky adds the distinctive color - beautiful shot.

Beautiful! I went to Moab and Arches last May and loved the area in spring, but you showed us it’s exceptionally beautiful in winter aswell. Great shot. Colors are stunning.
