Hello There

by Yanaar Lee

A gull kept bothering me while I was trying to get the lagoon... so... got it along with the pic.

Our coastline is absolutely spectacular and it seems that some of its inhabitants either are incredibly curious or are camera hams! Awesome backdrop to a whimsical character! Thanks for sharing this great photo with us all!

If this seagull were bothering you, it certainly didn’t interfere with this awesome shot.
I guess you used the lagoon merely as background for the bird.ha!

An amazing picture for its bright colors, its different “areas” (sea, hills, sky, beach). The clear white waves on the deep blue sea are great as well. And the gull – which doesn’t bother me – gives it a realistic characteristic, it gives it an extra dimension – the 3rd one that is usually missing on a picture and on a screen. This might even be the best picture I have seen on this website as of now ! A wonderful job,

Charles

The gull seems to welcome you and not to bother you Lee.

The gull really makes it as it invites the viewer into the scene.

Amazing colours! I actually think that the gull helped a lot with the composition! Congratulations!

Nice composition. A little oversaturated maybe?

My granddaughter Piper, (12) does not like sea birds. Because, “They should not be in land.” Her words, but I tell her they are just curious. This guy proved me right!!!! Great shot!!! EZ

Either you are very tall or this is a real bird’s eye view! Delightful.

Perhaps he knew he would add just the right touch for the image? It certainly is beautiful!

These kind of shots are really my favorite. A seagull showing us his own backyard. Perfect!

Great example of turning adversity into opportunity.

That is most certainly a good shot, however the color of the sea seems retouched. Great shot though.

The bird turned an empty shot into an interesting one.

In my opinion the seagull is what makes the photo an not-so-average picture. You burnt the highlights on the seagull though. Lovely lagoon also.
