This male Blue-footed Booby is “guarding” his mate and their egg on the Galapagos island of San Cristobal.

Awesome shot. I love these guys. In Australia they line their nests with anything they can find with blue that matches their feet. Same in Galapagos?

first time to see such a kind! I wonder how many other unpopoular yet wonderful creatures exists in Galapagos, the center of Darwin’s experimentation.
