Thanks for sharing this photo. I think that you were at the right palce, but did not take the shot at the right time. The surfers could be in a more exciting position. Did you put your camera in the continous shooting mode?

Wow. Did your camera also have a bath?!! at 50 mm you must be pretty close.
Fantastic shot. The little bit noise adds to the type of scene, gives the Tri-X look.

I didn’t see the surfers at first and I thought it was a shot of an awesome wave. After seeing the surfers and realizing the wave was twice as big as I thought at first…double awesome!
