I think this is by far one of the best pictures I’ve seen of the Grand Canyon. Fantastic capture!!

I hope this is one of your shots for an art show.

Great photo, but I had hoped for a more romantic photo on EarthShots for Valentines Day!! Maybe Mr EarthShots isn’t the romantic type!?
Renee
I think you got that one right Natalie! I like the reds in this photo nice!

You would think that there wouldn’t be much to photograph in the winter but the pictures just get better and better.

A truly amazing snapshot of a moment in time, indicating the imprint of formation on our majestic planet! WOW! Lovely shot, and truly deserving of POTD. I remain in awe. Thank you!

I never saw snow in the Grand Canyon before. I thought it was too warm there. Cheers.

I have been there in May last year, but I have to say that snow adds something extra to an already very special place. Good shot.
Angus MacRae
This is a great photo. I visited the Grand Canyon about 3 weeks ago and the last of the snow was just melting from this point. Pieter (above), the Grand Canyon is at around 8,000ft, so there is plenty of snow there throughout the winter.
