    Spectacular !

  2. David Doe David Doe Says:

WOW! The photo alone is awesome but to think that the guy holding the camera was either falling themselves or at very least dangling from the door of a plane…..Well done!!

  3. Reuben Chircop Reuben Chircop Says:

Thats a great shot, I am sure that was not an easy shot.

  4. dapascha dapascha Says:

Looks like Lake Taupo in New Zealand… But is Oscar the guy under the camera-helmet or the guy under the tandem-jumper?

  5. Pauline Jones Pauline Jones Says:

What a great place to travel; this must be a unique shot.

  6. Oscar Sobrino Says:

    I can’t believe i did that!!!!

  7. Sara Says:

this is amazing! you can see the curvature of the earth and everything, brilliant, well done.

  8. Renee Renee Says:

    Wow! Very incredible! Nice shot

  9. Eileen Eileen Says:

Weird! How would a person get high enough to take a picture of the curveture of the earth and be able to shoot this shot. I am sorry but without explaintion??????????? I don’t get it!!!!!!!!!!! Our earth looks to small? EZ

  10. charles Says:

i agree with eileen , there is something very strange on this picture, the curveture of the earth is not natural… those guys are too close from the ground !
anyway that’s a nice pic but need some technical details :)

  11. Matt Matt Says:

Nice shot - great composition especially given the conditions!
Eileen, I don’t think that is the curvature of the earth but rather the distortion created by a fisheye type lens.

  12. Josh Says:

Has to be fisheye for that shot, but what an effect it has. Really amazing picture though.

  13. Stine Says:

I tried this tandem-jump, actually over Lake Taupo in New Zealand, where another man jumped next to us with a camera with a fisheye lens on his helmet. It must be the same in this picture.

  14. Tom Brooklyn Says:

Cool use of a fisheye to bend the horizon.

Where on earth was this taken? Please specify.

  15. Eileen Eileen Says:

With a fisheye lens the whole picture would look curved?? Oh well! EZ

  16. Rama Raju Says:

    Such a daring dive !

  17. Anurag Anurag Says:

What a wonderful effect created by the extreme wide angle/fisheye lens. Makes the earth looks like a much smaller sphere than it really is.
Note the settlement below and how it has destroyed the green cover of the earth.

  18. a. Says:

How did you breathe? Wonderful shot though!

  19. Earthlover Says:

I thought this was a picture of a spider dangling from its web when I first glanced at it! I couldn’t believe it was a real person. Too Cool!

  20. Srirama Raja Says:

Really cool. Good picture. I wish I could do this someday.

  21. max Says:

Wow, that’s awesome. Must be a wide angle lens because the earth doesn’t really curve like that. Were you parachuting, hangliding, or what?

  22. Sue Gagnon Says:

Holy WOW!! DITTO on ALL!!! Fantastic view…;)

  23. Pieter -sAner- van der Horst Pieter -sAner- van der Horst Says:

Great shot! I love the major barrel distortion on this one. Great compo.

  24. yasmin yasmin Says:

    breathe-taking! This is AMAZING.
