Sat with this leopard for three hours. She shot up to watch a troop of monkeys seconds before the sun disappeared

Where on Earth was this shot?

This leopard looks a like it could use a good meal.

I’m surprised how close you seem to have gotten to it.

I like this very much. Really like the stance of the leopard and the light on her face, the shape and texture of the tree she is pearching on. The bright sky is a bit of a distraction (which may be easily fixed in Photoshop).

Well, “siting with” a leapord isn’t exactly my Idea of Bonhomie!! ) Did you even have a heart to heart

Back to being serious - great patience, richly rewarded

Beautiful shot with terrific lighting. The colours all blend superbly. The light on the leopards face draw the eye to what is the main focal point. The shaping of the tree forms a perfect frame. This is a seriously good shot which has greatly rewarded your patience and skill. I can sense the adrenalin rush you must have experienced. Congratulations on a stunner.

Wow! I have seen some spectacular photography, in my day… But this is beyond beautiful! You have captured the essence of your subject! You can see the determination in her face and can almost feel the practiced patience before the hunt! Congratulations on FOTD, this shot is very worthy of the title!
