Angelic! I love the clouds on the water! Though you are right, the lens flare was there, it added a sparkling look to the place.
Wow!
I’d say just keep the lense flare. It isn’t all that bad. I’d say it even adds to the mood of the shot. I also like the algae covered under water rocks, thus revealed by the polariser.
Terrific Shot
Very good shot indeed. the reflection of the sky and the light flare is just in place. I also like the field effect its just marvelous.
Astonishing photo I thought I was just awakening and seeing the sunlight breaking through shattered glass…I feel the lens flare just adds that little bit of colour to draw the eye right through the photo…Arent you brave to take your camera out on the lake and especially with film!!!
This is just a stunning photo, exposure, framing and the lighting looks perfect, the flare doesn`t bother me. The scenery is just superb.
Wow - this is a wonderfull picture. I think the flare adds to it.
Breath-taking shot. It must have been a fabulous trip. We all seem to be in agreement about keeping the lens flare.
Photoshop is a nice ( often overused ) tool, but it is no substitute for good instincts. You captured the moment. Thanks for sharing this.
Wow! Looks really sharp..nice photo
I am in full agreement with the comments of H.Bowers
Don’t take out the lens flare; it would make a terrific shot look artificial.
WOW, a terrific picture. I love the picture and would never screen anything out of it - but instead enlarge it and hang it in my living room. After reading about what equipment you have though, I see I don’t need to ever bother submitting anything I take into Earth Shots. I just can’t compare equipment wise and sure wish I had more money and could afford equipment like that. I see some great possibilities I might have with better equipment.
This is a very nice shot.
this looks amazing!, unbelievable!
Wow - amazing image! Very good use of filters.
Buck, I wouldn’t change one iota of this spectacular shot you have here. Not one single thing. I’m jealous for not ever doing that or going there, it’s gorgeous, and so real. Quite a contrast in that sky, it’s very engaging!! Nice job, I just love it…:)
I don’t think you had better change anything on this photo….you may get beat up!!! It is just right the way it is!
Just one more comment to say I love this shot, and DONT photoshop it, it just makes the brightness and light that plays around you in these environments come alive the the photo
Janice,
do not be disheartened by lack of equipment. Its the person behind the camera that is important. Even a humble Holga can take spectacular images!
This is the sort of photograph that we dream of taking. Terrific shot and sometimes just a little lens flare adds to rather than detracts. Great work
heaven on earth just beautiful
I thought this was a painting.
FANTASTIC! I agree with janice- to hang this Beauty in my Living Rm.
It looks as though you were Paddling into Paradise.
Love the way you composed it with the canoe leading us in. Lucky you with that view!
