San Diego County Wildfire

The Harris Fire just went over the peak of this mountain (Mt. San Miguel) after midnight on 10/23/2007. There have been 21 civilian and 32 firefighter injuries, as well as five deaths on this fire. 211 homes and 262 outbuildings have been destroyed, and 259 additional structures are damaged. The estimated cost of this fire to date is $15.1 million.
