Golden Temple
by Macki Haer
This is a pic of the most holiest shrine of the Sikh faith.
Taken in Amritsar, the Golden Temple is India's jewel in the crown.

I started digital photography 3 year ago, and enjoy photographing all subjects and using the adobe. I love to travel and just back from north India.

Nice point of view, but I dont like The water tank tower in the background (OK Its there and cant be removed, but maybe moving laterally could have hidden It behind the temple or it could have been cloned out in Photoshop). You also cut the Right pillar of the main gateway.

I like the reflections in the river.

I LOVE the picture and the reflection in the water.

Nice photo with a nice subject. Too bad the water wasn’t showing a better reflection. Colors are great, the sky is a little dark. I would have cloned out the birds (?) on the lefthandside of the stand-alone tower as they are not recognisable as birds or whatever they are. They look like dustspots on your sensor now.

Unique lighting – the sky is dark with the sun on the building. Well done!
