Going Home
by Paula Heelan
At the end of the day this cattleman is heading home. I like the way he is riding towards the fading sun. Although this shot also works in colour, with a great dusty yellow look, I like it in black and white.
Equipment: Fuji Fine Pix S9500

To me, this is home. And ever since I left Montana, I have not been
missing home. Thanks for the photo. I am in Love with Australia we were going to move there to raise sheep. But we went home to Montana. The two places are much the same. Thank You!! EZ

Well done Paula. I love this photo. Represents our industry very well. Love the effect of the B & W. Keep up the great photos.

I like a picture that tells a story. This one does it very well. I t is perfect in mono and captures the mood depicting the ending of the day.

I like the way the sunbeams are bracketing the rider, and the positioning of the sun which pulls the eye straight to the rider’s head.

Nice shot Paula but the B&W shot makes me think it is more like an early morning shot rather than one taken at sunset.
Another Aussie GEELONG VIC.

Really nice photo. I like the way he seems to be riding right into the sun. I’d love to see the color image.

I like this photo really much, because i like black and white photos first and horse is the only animal that i like. When these two gets together and it has a meaning, I find it inevitable in order to like it.
C’est magnifique!
