Sculpted

by Tad Bowman

This photograph was taken along Lincoln Creek in Colorado. I was really drawn to the rocks and how the water had sculpted them over time. I was equally drawn to the way the water fanned over the rocks.
Equipment: Canon EOS 1ds MII, 70-200 mm lens, tripod, polarizer

Softness of the sculpted rocks and the motion blurred flow of the water go together very well.
A great eye to have seen everything in your mind and then capturing it on camera.

great photo, agree to the simplicity but very naturally soothing. Almost looks like digital art.

Nice Capture!

The water appears to be a very delicate etched crystal bowl…amazing. thanks for your great eye!

Very nice. Really sculpted. Water and wind are the best natures sculptor. I would say water is the best since its “working” on its masterpiece with no breaks.

Feel the cold water running between your toes!

Whomever says photos are not art, has never seen shots like this. It truly is sculptured water.

WHOA! from leaf tips to huge rock ledges, size has lost meaning in this shot and what remains is a tactile and aesthetic glimpse of our world in motion. thank you
